Dr. Aleyamma Mathew has been practicing psychiatry for over 20 years. She received her medical degree from government Medical College in Kerala, India. She completed her Internship and Residency at Martin Luther King Jr./ Drew Medical Center. She is Board Eligible.

Dr. Mathew has worked for San Bernardino County for over 20 years, where she was Staff Director for Upland Counseling Center where she conducted Medication Groups, Crisis Intervention, Day Treatment-Management.

As a staff psychiatrist currently for Patton State hospital her duties include Team Interdisciplinary Leader, Expert Witness for Court Trials, Leadership Management, Case Conference leader, Forensic Competency Hearings, Medication Management, and Senior Psychiatrist (Chart and Audit reviews).

She treats Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Bipolar, Christian Counseling, OCD, Personality Disorders, Postpartum Issues. Her clinical orientation is Cognitive Behavioral, Biological/Medical. She treats adults 18 years and up and has Saturday hours.
